Sizing for Snowboards
Currently, the two sizes we have available for the 2024 Season are a 154cm and a 157cm snowboard; below is the rider fit a little more in depth.
154cm Snowboard:
Weight and Height: Typically suits riders who are shorter and lighter, but not exclusively. It can be a good choice for riders anywhere from 110-180 pounds (50-82 kg) and around 5'4" to 5'10" (163-178 cm) in height.
157cm Snowboard:
Weight and Height: Generally suits riders who are a bit taller and heavier, but again, it's not limited to this. Riders around 130 to 200+ pounds (59 to 91+ kilograms) and between 5'8" and 6'2"+ (173-188+ cm) may find this size comfortable.
No Set Rule for Snowboard Sizing
It's important to note that these are general guidelines, and personal preference plays a significant role in snowboard sizing. Some riders may prefer a shorter board for maneuverability, while others might opt for a longer board for more stability. Also, factors like snow conditions, terrain, and your own style can influence your choice. Ultimately, it's a good idea to demo boards of different sizes to see what feels most comfortable and suits your style of riding best.
